Our story
Built in Frederick.
Paraview Behavioral Health was founded in 2025 in Frederick, Maryland by psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners who were tired of watching people fall through the cracks of a system that makes care hard to reach. Long wait-lists, rotating providers, fifteen-minute med-checks: none of that is what good mental health care looks like.
So we built something different: a practice where you can get a real evaluation, see the same provider over time, and have your medication managed by someone who knows your history. Getting help when your mental health is at its lowest should be as simple as possible, and that belief shapes everything we do.

Telehealth across Maryland, in-network with most major insurance, and no months-long wait. The first visit being three months out is its own clinical problem.

You see the same provider over time. Treatment is iterative, so your provider needs to know your history to make the next decision well.

Whole-person care
We coordinate with your therapist, primary care, and other providers so your plan is coherent, not a pile of disconnected appointments.

HIPAA-compliant from the ground up, with encrypted records and strict access controls. Your care stays confidential.
Where we are headed
We began as a focused, high-quality psychiatric practice and continue to expand our scope of care, from medication management and psychiatric evaluations to substance use treatment, geriatric psychiatry, and maternal mental health. Our goal is to be a trusted provider of mental health care for patients across Maryland.
