How telehealth visits work
From your first evaluation through ongoing medication management, telehealth lets you fit appointments around work and family, no commute, no waiting room, just a private, secure conversation from wherever you are in the state.
All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a private spot for your appointment. We send a secure link, and your provider meets you by video. First visits run a full 60 minutes, the same as in person, and follow-ups are scheduled around your life.
Telehealth fits most psychiatric care, including evaluations, medication management, and follow-up. When something is better handled in person, we will tell you plainly, and in-person visits at our Frederick office are always an option.

For most psychiatric evaluation and medication management, telehealth works just as well, with the added benefit of easier, more consistent access. We will flag the rare situation where an in-person visit is the better call.
Do I need to live near Frederick to use telehealth?+
