How ADHD care works here
Our board-certified providers start with a real evaluation, not a five-minute screen, because getting the diagnosis right is the whole point. From there we build a plan that fits your life, with both stimulant and non-stimulant options on the table.
A thorough first visit confirms the diagnosis and rules out look-alikes such as anxiety, depression, or sleep problems that can mimic ADHD. That matters, because the right plan depends on an accurate picture. We then choose medication with your goals, history, and tolerances in mind, and monitor closely as we dial it in.
Stimulants are controlled medications, so prescribing them responsibly sometimes means an in-person visit or extra check-ins. We will tell you plainly what applies to your situation, and we coordinate with therapy or coaching when that is part of your plan.

Common questions
Can adults get evaluated for ADHD, not just kids?+
Yes. Many of the people we evaluate are adults who were never diagnosed or who want a formal evaluation. We assess current symptoms and history to reach an accurate diagnosis and plan.
Do you prescribe stimulant medication for ADHD?+
We do when it is clinically appropriate, alongside non-stimulant options. Because stimulants are controlled substances, prescribing involves responsible monitoring and, depending on current rules, may require an in-person visit in Frederick.
What should I bring to my first ADHD appointment?+
Anything that helps tell your story: past evaluations or report cards, a list of current medications, and examples of how focus or organization affects work, school, or home. It all helps us reach an accurate diagnosis.
Ready when you are.
We respond to new-patient inquiries the next business day.
